Currently working as a Nurse Practitioner in a surgical orthopaedic practice caring for patients presenting with degenerative, metabolic, trauma and sports medicine conditions at Marshfield Clinic.  The last 32 years spent working in a variety of orthopaedic setting to include: hospital post-operative surgical unit, operating room and clinic setting. Roles within these setting have included those of staff nurse, RNFA, MSM computer specialist, total joint case manager, and nurse practitioner.

Dedication to my profession is demonstrated by my membership in NAON, AORN, and WNA.  I hold a Clinical Adjunct Faculty Position at UW-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health and currently practice as Surgical Orthopaedic Nurse Practitioner. With an MS from UW-Madison, I offer years of hands on clinical experience in health care and wellness.

Experienced editor for Orthopedic Operating Room Manual,  a peer reviewed author of many book chapters and journal articles including Orthopedic Nursing, NAON Core Curriculum, and, Orthopedic Nursing Journal.

Holds four certifications; Orthopaedic Nurse Certified (ONC), Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR), Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP-C) and Orthopaedic Nurse Practitioner (ONP-C). Honored at NAON’s 34th annual congress, receiving a Distinguished Service Award that recognizes an individual who has advanced orthopaedic nursing through their actions and efforts.

Has presented both nationally and internationally for NAON and AAOS, along with many other organizations within the US. Particularly known for her ability to provide practical information to interdisciplinary health care audiences. Tina’s high energy and genuine enthusiasm, coupled with a passion to help people be more of who they are – completely and fully creates her signature approach to education.

Strongest selling point is training in and focus on health promotion coupled with a willingness to spend the time needed to get to know patients to understand their needs and concerns. This allows for not only treating the disease, but also treating the human response to the disease.
