Speaker Biographies

Sarah Gaddy-Williamson is Owner and Director of Carolina Therapy Associates, LLC. She is a board certified Speech-Language Pathologist and accredited by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). She also serves on the South Carolina Alexander Graham Bell Association Board of Directors.

She graduated with highest honors from the University of Florida in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a minor in Dance. In 2002, she earned her graduate degree with honors from The University of North Carolina-Greensboro. After graduation, she completed her Clinical Fellowship in Ft. Collins, Colorado. She served both pediatric and adult populations in the Ft. Collins and Denver metro areas for 3 years. She has also provided adult and geriatric Speech Therapy services in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities, and home health agencies. She began private contracting and entrepreneurship with pediatrics in 2003.

Since 2005, Sarah has been providing Speech, Language, and Swallowing evaluation and treatment services to patients along the Grand Strand. In 2007, she started her company, Carolina Therapy Associates, continuing quality in-home care for pediatrics with emphasis in the birth to three age range.

In 2011, she opened her current office in order to serve a broader age range of clients from at-risk babies to adolescents. She continues to enjoy serving children via early intervention programs.

Sarah Gaddy is licensed in the state of South Carolina and a credentialed BabyNet provider. She has her Certificate of Clinical Competency from ASHA and, for  3 years, served as a board member of the AG Bell Association. She is also pursuing training in Craniosacral therapy with the Upledger Institute.

Sarah thoroughly enjoys using dance and gross-motor activities in her work whenever possible to increase participation and Neuro-motor connections in speech therapy. She is grateful for her patients and their families who continually teach and bless her each day.
