Elizaneth D. Burnette, MSN, APRN, FNP-
While training at Nash Community College in Rocky Mount, N.C, Beth progressed from CNA I, CNA II, LPN, then Associate Degree RN (1992) receiving multiple awards and scholarships for academic achievement. As an ADN Registered Nurse, her experience included ICU, Emergency Trauma Level Facilities, Pediatrics, Home Health & Hospice, Flight/Trauma Nursing and service as an ER Specialist at the Crow/Northern Cheyenne Indian Health Services at Crow Agency, MT.
As a graduate of Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky (2014), her first position was at a Critical Access Hospital ER in Hardin, Montana. The nights were long and the staff included one CNA, two RNs, one FNP, and anyone else that could come in during a blizzard. Beth has been certified in ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, ATLS and CALS.
She has continued her career as a family nurse practitioner working in both primary and urgent care settings. Her dedication to nursing education is evident as one peruses the steps taken toward her current position while she also continues work toward her doctorate degree.
